How long have you been in business?
Ergonomic chair sales began in 1987, with workstations added in 1990.
What is your primary product or service?
Comfortable ergonomic seating for individual to maintain better health and mobility, and to provide more work productivity. The same applies to workstation adjustment, and computer usage equipment placement.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Many of my associates suffered back pain, arm and wrist pain etc., related to computer use, and repetitive motion jobs. The Sit-Rite ergonomic adjustable chair relieved so much pain, creating my mission to promote and establish a better working environment.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I still prefer (considered old fashioned today)the face to face sale, analyzing what is best, providing the product and standing by it.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
The showroom in Auburn was closed last year, with my current location used for adminstrative work. Shipments are initiated from many states. Expansion will occur with knowledgeable sales personnel.
