How long have you been in business?
Atlas Travel International opened its doors in October of 1986.
What is your primary product or service?
Atlas provides business travel management, vacation planning, meeting services and incentive programs.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I purchased a travel agency franchise in 1986 after more than a decade in education and counselling. I only had personal vacation travel experience, but soon realized that travel success meant learning the business travel management industry and the vacation piece. After 10 years, we had won every award the franchise bestowed and so we went out on our own as an independent global agency. It's been a wonderful career.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a top-ranked woman-owned business. We've won Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year in New England and been distinguished as one of Fast Company magazine's Top Business Builders in North America. It is all about identifying what the customer needs and wants and always listening. We serve companies that have used mega agencies and left due to the larger agencies' lack of personal attention.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We are headquartered in Milford, MA, with a second location in Lexington, MA and a network of in-house agents servicing our corporate customers across the entire U.S.

Corporate Travel: Monday-Friday 8AM-11PM with 24-hour after-hours services. Vacation Travel: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5PM
