How long have you been in business?
OptiMA started in business in July of 1987.
What is your primary product or service?
We manufacture custom printed dry erase boards and dry erase wall coverings.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We started as a janitorial and maintenance supply company and our school customers were the driving force for us to investigate the dry erase board market. After being in the market since 1998 we found that our customers needed a better source and a better product in the custom printed dry erase market. So we developed the Opti-Print method.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Most custom printed dry erase boards ghost and wear down very quickly especially in the hospital market. Hospitals have to wipe down the patient room boards or other printed dry erase boards with Isopropyl alcohol which destroys regular dry erase writing surfaces but we recommend cleaning our Opti-Print custom printed dry erase boards with Isopropyl making our boards superior. Our writing surface won't ghost either no matter how long you leave the writing on the boards.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have a 12,000 square foot facility in the Hills Farm Industrial Park that we moved into in January of 2011.
